Community Engagement Specialist

Position Objective:

The Community Engagement Specialist, a vital team member on the Marketing Team, is responsible for raising awareness for the ‘People Helping People’ philosophy and City & County’s mission, vision & values within our communities we serve to enhance relationships and attract new members. In addition, the Community Engagement Specialist will bring energy and passion for financial education, community events, volunteering, relationship building and cooperative banking.

Job Description

Prerequisites:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. 2 years' professional experience in business development, sales management and/or marketing experience. Must be a licensed driver with a working automobile available to you at all times. Excellent PC skills with a proficiency in many programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience in using graphic design software such as Photo Shop and Illustrator in IBM platform and working knowledge of social media management platforms and email marketing software's is beneficial. General understanding of the financial/credit union industry including compliance-related issues.

Branch Manager

Position Objective:

Guide and manage the branch in quality service delivery, sound branch operating tactics, and attainment of organization and branch goals. Solve problems within established policies and guidelines. Ensure branch is compliant with all applicable laws, regulations and policies. Provide back-up support for different branch operation departments/positions.

Job Description

Prerequisites:

4-year College degree, or equivalent Credit Union/Banking experience. 2 years’ supervisory experience, preferred. Ability to directly supervise six or more employees. Consumer lending underwriting skills preferred. Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation). Proven experience in training and developing employees. Successful experience with Business Development. Able to lead a team toward a common goal. To be able to adapt to continuous change.

Indirect Loan Underwriter

Indirect Lending Manager

Position Objective:

The Indirect Loan Underwriter is primarily responsible for underwriting a high volume of loans exercising skill and judgment in the extension of credit. Accountabilities include ensuring that loans are properly underwritten and processed in compliance with existing regulations, established policies and guidelines, and maintaining adequate controls. The position ensures quality of service and the credit union’s professional image is maintained by delivering services efficiently and in a professional manner.

Job Description

Prerequisites:

Two to four years of progressively responsible Credit/Underwriting experience in a financial service institution, preferably a credit union, required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of applicable State and Federal regulations, loan underwriting guidelines, standard loan products, credit scoring models and reviewing credit reports. College experience preferred.

Member Engagement Specialist

Position Objective:

Looking for a team member to assist members in opening new accounts, interviewing & closing of loan requests, explaining the benefits of the credit union's products and services, and performing teller transactions.

Prerequisites:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years financial industry experience. Excellent verbal and communication skills.
