Commodity Supplemental Food Program - ages 60+

Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)

 CSFP is a United States Department of Agriculture supplemental food and nutrition program that is designed to provide healthy and nutritious food each month at no cost to eligible individuals. 

Eligible: 

  • Are 60 years or older
  • Live in Minnesota
  • Meet CSFP income guidelines 
  • Prepare their own meals
  • Do not live in a facility that provides meals
WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

WIC (Women, Infants & Children)

WIC provides nutrition education and counseling, nutritious foods, and referrals to health and other social services.

Who: eligible pregnant women, new mothers, babies and young children.

Low-Income Energy Assistance Program

Low-Income Energy Assistance Program

The Energy Assistance Program helps pay energy bills for eligible Minnesotans. The program is free and provides an average benefit of about $550, plus additional support to respond to emergencies.

Who: Both renters and homeowners can qualify. Eligibility is based on income and household size.
