Although your daily experience with us may continue to change and evolve, know that our team is dedicated to supporting our members and communities with genuine solutions that fit your needs.  

To maintain a healthy & safe environment, we're taking the following proactive and precautionary measures:

  • CLOSED LOBBY AREAS - Starting Thursday, March 19, 2020 lobby areas will temporarily be closed until further notice. Drive-up locations will remain open. We'll continue to update you as circumstances change and our plans to resume lobby service evolve.
  • DRIVE-UPS - Our drive-up locations will remain open. We will offer as many of our normal lobby services from the drive-up as we can. 
  • SAFE DEPOSIT BOX - If you need access to your Safe Deposit Box, please call us to set up an appointment
  • DIGITAL BANKING SOLUTIONS - We strongly encourage the use of our digital solutions like online banking, online chat, mobile app with free mobile deposit and send money that make it easy to do financial tasks from home and enhance efforts to stay safe & healthy. 
  • GENERAL MILLS EXCLUSIVE - To align with the expectation set by General Mills Corporate, our branch locations at Champions Center and JFB will be temporarily closed until April 2, 2020, although subject to change as plans evolve at General Mills. Starting Friday, March 20, 2020 our Cedar Rapids, Hannibal & Murfreesboro locations will be temporarily closed until further notice.

Postpone or adjust your monthly auto, recreational, personal, fixed home equity loan or credit card payment to put more money in your wallet during this extraordinary time. Contact us or call (651) 225-2700 to get started.

To qualify, your City & County loan must be in good standing. Requests must be received at least 10 business days prior to payment due date. Not applicable to first mortgages, home equity lines of credit, checking lines of credit, or single pay notes. Credit card must be open and in good standing. If your payment comes directly from one of your CCCU deposit accounts, dollars will remain in your account. If you have automatic payment from another financial institution, you will need to stop your payment with the originating financial institution. Interest will continue to accrue on your principal balance and regular payments will resume in the following month. Only one $0 skip a payment allowed during emergency COVID-19 period. Other restrictions may apply. Subject to approval.

Your Funds are Safe

At City & County Credit Union the safety and security of your accounts is our top priority. Your funds are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

In addition, we’ve partnered with Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI), a licensed property and casualty insurance company, to provide an additional $250,000 in savings coverage to qualifying accounts – in addition to the NCUA coverage of $250,000.

As a result of the combination of these coverages, savings deposits in CCCU are covered up to $500,000.

  • Never click on links in emails from unknown senders
  • Don’t accept friend requests from unknown people on social media networks
  • Delete all text messages with unknown numbers and suspicious links
  • Do not give out personal information unless you have initiated contact
  • If you’re unsure if a caller is reputable, hang up and call the organization directly
