By enrolling in our 52-Week Savings Challenge, we'll open a new Automatic Savings account for you, create automatic weekly transfers from your chosen CCCU account and transfer your chosen amount to your new savings. All you have to do is watch your savings grow!

How do I enroll in the challenge?

Which account can I use to fund the challenge?

It’s flexible. You can choose any CCCU checking or savings account to fund the 52-Week Savings Challenge Automatic Savings Account.

When can I start?

Anytime! The 52-Week Savings Challenge is a personal challenge, so you can start saving whenever you want. Best of all, it’s automatic. Once you’ve enrolled, you don’t have to lift a finger. We’ll take it from there.

How much do I need to transfer every week?

That’s up to you! We recommend starting with $4, $6 or $8. However, you can choose a custom amount if you would like to do more or less.

What do I do when the challenge is over?

Great question. You can transfer your newly saved cash to your other CCCU accounts and start the challenge all over again. Or you can transfer to your checking account to spend however you’d like!

Why did a new savings account show up in my profile?

The 52-Week Savings Challenge creates a new dedicated Automatic Savings account to store your challenge savings. This keeps it away from your usual day-to-day spending.

What if there’s not enough money in my funding source account?

Don’t worry. The challenge won’t overdraft your funding source account.

If there’s not enough money in the funding account to make the deposit, it will simply skip the transfer that week and start back up on the next scheduled date.
